According to the World Bank (2013) and the FAO (2012) “ The future needs an agricultural system that produces about 50% more food to feed the world’s 9 billion people by 2050”. Webb16 mars 2024 · I begin by presenting the conceptualization of hunger and food insecurity, addressing the complexity of the issues and their multiple forms and ways of discussing them. I then provide a snapshot of the state of hunger in the world and trends that have resulted in the current condition.
