WebOct 14, 2024 · It is the photolibraryd process. Finder won't let me eject the disk image containing the Photos library until I force quit the photolibraryd process. Which immediately restarts and remounts the volume. Once Photos is done with the facial recognition scan of the entire library this process goes away until a new image is added.
