Nurse retention rates have shown a dramatic increase with the use of NRPs with most studies showing a retention rate of over 90% after the first year of hire (Goode et al., 2013; Medas et al., 2015; Trepanier et al., 2012 ). Two studies showed a lower retention rate ( Rosenfeld et al., 2015; Salmond et al., 2024 ).
