I have a Asus strix GTX 1080 and I oc'ed it using GPU Tweak II and also set up my own fan curve since the auto fan doesn't go up as fast as I would like. It seems to be working intermittently, as in sometimes it works as I had set it up and other times it doesn't start the fan at all.
